I want a targa supra, but they're kinda hard to find.
I dont know why people always say "rare hard top" on their craigslist ads.
Because 80% of the supras that I see are hard top. smh..
But main thing I want = white/black interior / 5 speed / targa
I plan on turboing whatever supra i get, so I rather get a NA and do turbo conversion (cheaper insurance)..

You have some luck to come across a bunch of hard tops. They are rare. They made many more targa's then hard tops. TT hard tops are extremely rare.
Insurance for both my cars is right around $98. Full coverage for both. They almost didn't give me full coverage on the 94. I had to argue with them a good bit and threaten to leave switch because of it. Once the guy valued the Supra compared to the Lexus he was amazed lol.
Just be prepared that getting more of your investment back from the n/a will be a lot harder then the TT model. Sure you won't mind though.
How many miles are on the N/A?

Yeah I think insurance is more here in the city.
I'm paying around $150/mo for my IS for full coverage. (and I rarely ever drive it)
I think it will be more for supra because it's more rare + it's 2 door vs 4 door.
I wouldn't try to resell the supra as a na.
I would turbo it before i let it go

I'm sure you would sell it turbo but what I was meaning is that it would be harder to sell it for what you want exactly since it would be a na-t convert. But should still sell for a nice price!
I love my IS but I don't and it's simply because of the color. The only reason I bought it is because I knew its history and the deal was too good to pass up considering the price and the history of how well it was taken care of.
