Hey guys I partially pried off the steering wheel center piece, the rubber 'L' to repaint it due to fading. I noticed it's got a middle piece that's tucked under some sort of **** and i'm afraid to rip it off anymore. Anyone had experience with taking this center piece off? Thanks for your time.

leave it alone.

a better idea would be just cover it with a Lexus "L" emblem. you can find a small L to fit from the wheel cap.

not sure what size you have but over here in europe we have been doing a swap with this one on the steering wheel and the chrome one sitting on the engine air filter box.

you can always buy a used air box from over here and just have the guy remove the badge for you
