I have a 2001 IS300 and when I fill it to more than 1/2 tank of fuel it makes a LOUD whooping noise constantly over and over. I have been told its the Evaporative Emissions Canister so I got online and ordered a part from a website. (it had the whole canister and everything circled so I figured it would provide all the parts) However I ordered only the purge solenoid, stupid mistake I admit, but I was wondering if anyone had the same problem and/or if this purge solenoid would fix this problem. Also if anyone has replaced the purge solenoid any advice or pointers that would help me do it faster and without problems would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I think mine need to be replaced...or the entire canister setup. mine just gives me a check engine light for some sort of emissions code
