I'm about to purchase an 04 IS300, problem is the seller only has the slave key. Whats the cheapest way of getting a Master Key with the keyless entry? If I go thru the dealer, how much should I be looking at? Appreciate any feedback.

 

well the key is easy you can order it from ebay and its like $5. then have a locksmith cut it for about $60. To get the actual electronic part you will have to go through Lexus and im not sure the cost. I know to get the whole set up from Lexus its about $350

 

just got a quote from the dealer..$325 for the key and programming..good enough?

 

sounds good to me. probably alot easier than doing it any other way to save a few bucks
