Didn't he get 2 master keys from the dealer? I got 2 master keys, 1 valet key, and 1 wallet key when my car was delivered to me. I'm not too sure how easy an eBay key could be programmed to work on this car, unles it's the exact same type of key as the original master.

Lexus should be the only ones to replace keys.

George, I've heard that if you lose a master key for the first time, Lexus grants you a free "goodwill" replacement of the master key and/or the ECU of the car (for security reasons). Don't quote me on it, but this is what I've gathered from past discussions in other forums here, and all Lexus dealerships know about this key "goodwill" replacement deal. Can't hurt to ask, right?

The key that is sold by Sewell Lexus is the Valet Key, NOT the master! It looks like you need to contact a local Lexus dealer for this part.
