Default Help me!

Where can i find a kit to have my Ignition Lock Cylinder, Trunk and Door lock all keyed the same at a decent price? If you can help me out it would be greatly appreciated.

Im not sure a locksmith can do this for our cars. Laser cut keys** I think the dealership will have to do it.

A local locksmith in my area can cut the "laser" cut keys provided a blank which is odd since anything in Mississippi can hardly do any service lol.

I heard before that it was like $350 or something from dealer.
Surprised me because that's not very expensive for all the work that has to be done.

yeah he wants new lock cylinders though. which use the laser cut keys. he needs more than just that expensive a$$ key. i dont think there will be such a thing as a decent price for all of that

nah maybe it was on ebay or something, or maybe on classifieds.
everything was for like $350, i don't remember, it was a while ago.
i coulda swore someone posted in here about it though. hmmm....

And I vaguely remember OLT saying that if it's a 2001 you gotta replace the computer too... sheeeit mang that's another $200 right there...

I heard somewhere that the 2001, you'd need to replace ECU? May be wrong, not sure

yeah i remember that thread. that was the guy who had his key stolen cause it was in a backpack or something

Either way, in 01 if you loose the master key you will need to buy a new ECU and of course new key$$! So get another key and stash away the master just in case
