So i just got back from a trip to North Carolina. It was 1000 miles round trip. The ol IS did a great job with speeds up to 115 and messing around with an IS250. We messed around for about 4 hours of the trip pretty fun having a couple of IS' tearing up the highways. Im gonna let it be known that white IS250 6spds have an amazing factory suspension set up. I was having trouble hanging with it through the twistys on I40 and I have coilovers and strut tower bars. but anyway even after 150k miles i was getting 26mpg with an average speed of 80ish.

Also saw 3 red IS300s and they mad me jealous cause they are my favs. And one red MKIV Supra that wasnt stock that really hurt my manhood when he laid into it next to me.

yeah somehow i got one that had been taken care of. i mean ive kept up the car and did a complete tune up timing belt etc. they are great motors.

 

oh rly, mine has 160k and is in tip top shape, its called regular maintenance i believe :P
2nd is are **** slow compared to 2jz bad boys, i know my 5spd bad boii will ***** on them all day long

 

I just picked up my IS300 last week with 148K miles and she purrs like kitten....haha.

 

How did you fair in the straights? Usually of course thats where the 250 lacks

 

it was close but im auto and he was 6spd. so he would pull on me and i would just catch up and then we would have to slow down. i thought they were faster than they are. but they look pretty damn sexy if i may say so.
