IS300 Chasis Code
ok if you want proof here is a some proof it is the SXE10 not the JCE10.. the egoist bodykit.. made for the altezza

You guys should know that the ENGINE is part of the body code.
For example, my GS430 is a UZS161 ("U" from the fact that my engine is a 3"U"Z-FE)...a GS300 (Aristo S300) is a JZS160...and the Aristo V300 (turbo) is a JZS161...the S300 and V300 use the 2JZ-GE and 2JZ-GTE respectively...
On your IS/Altezza here is the deal...
In Japan, the Altezza comes with two different motors...one is the 3S-GE (in the RS200 models) and the other is a 1G-FE (in the AS200 models)...
So if you have a RS200, your body code is SXE10. The "S" in SXE10 coming from 3"S"-GE...
If you have a AS200, your body code is GXE10...the "G" in GXE10 coming from the 1"G"-FE...
Now if the US codes followed the Japanese codes exactly, our IS300 would be a JXE10...but it's JCE10...I don't know why the "X" and "C" are different...could be that there already was a JCE10 on another car...could be because something else on the car is different...(lefthand/righthand drive should not matter)...
So there ya go...like EmoDragRacer state, when ordering stuff from Japan, SXE10 is the code to use...
