my trac light flashes every few seconds. what could it be?

 

Could be an emissions leak. At least that's what my problem was when I had the same CE light and "blinking trac off" light. Like I said before I would check those two parts first, and if you have a diagnostic tool handy, or know somebody that does, we could help you out much more if we knew the error code. They're both pretty easy to overlook, but very likely could be your problem. When you check them though, pay attention to the stem inside the fuel vapor feed pipe that likely has broken off inside the actual housing or hose; and for the ventilation hose look in about the mid section with a flashlight and make sure the restrictor (basically a small washer) isn't messed up or missing. It's almost guaranteed that the hoses for both need to be replaced since they're probably old, dry, and possibly cracked through. I would again recommend replacing them with factory parts. OK same thing here, made hard turn onto the onramp hwy. The lights came on trak flashing. Must have something to do with hitting turns too hard and fast.
