My 2003 IS300 track off light is flashing and mechanical light also flashing. The book says to take it to dealership. Can anyone tell me what this is all about? Please advise. Thanks in advance.

I'm pretty new to this car and this is just a guess but maybe speed sensor related?

 

is the check engine light on as well?

Any emissions related failure will cause the trac off light to flash, thus disabling traction control...

If the check engine light is not on (and its not because the bulb is burned out), then you have a failure in the traction control system which may be an ABS wheel speed sensor, ABS pump, control module, etc.
