LOL you got raped. Probably by a dealer too.

Get a can of 14 dollar maf cleaner, unplug the battery for 30 minutes and take off your maf and clean it. Reinstall after 20 minutes after maf dries and rehook battery. Drive around for a couple days and see if code is thrown again, if so post the exact numbers of the code(s) thrown.

DYI saves a lot of money BTW.

Nah man, my sht's all new,
no worries about my car breaking down..

Sure DIY exterior/lighting/interior mods is fine..
But engine.... I donno about that man..
If something doesn't go right with interior mods that's fine, just replace it; isn't that easy for engine..

Maf only costed like $100 - $150, don't remember but it something like that.
And it's brand new, no more worrying
Also I don't want to waste my time with trial and error.

The thing that cost money was the stupid o2 sensors & cost of labor.
If original poster wants to do trial and error, replacing only one o2 sensor he should start by replacing the one on the exhaust side since that's the one that gets dirty and goes bad first. That might fix his prob; and if he wants to do it himself it's easy to get to from underneath the car on passenger side. New o2 sensor isn't cheap, especially if you have to get all 4 of them.... If you want to try using a used one I have 4 used ones I'll unload for super cheap

I have 4 used o2 sensors I'll let you have for super cheap..
At least 3 of my used ones are still good..

Not sure which sensor is located where.
Maybe someone here knows for sure, but my guess would be the second furthest o2 sensor further from the motor (located on the header).

Yeah give it 15-30 miles and the light will probably come back on. Resetting the computer only cuts out the CEL temporarily
If there's an issue the computer will pick it up again soon and it's not something you should ignore because it could create larger problems if left unattended..

It's the sensor on the exhaust header Bank 1 is in the front, Sensor 2 is at the bottom. (DON'T replace the one in that location until you double check. It's been a few yrs for me). That's the most common failure IMO on this car. Everyone has seen that code if they have owned their car a long time. Mine was on with that code when I bought BOTH my IS300's. I had to buy a complete header with sensor in it because my sensor was mysteriously stripped in the hole of the header.
