ok, $$$$$$$ not a problem... what would you do, to create the baddest most craziest IS300 on the road.

rules: has to be 100% street legal and a daily driver. so comfort (or not) and 4 passengers are still needed.

GTE conversion!!

 

I would do this pluse a turbo and shave the front handles and moldings Check this out

yea, id go supra 2JZ-GTE conversion...and some disgustingly large turbo. with all due respect to the owner of who ever's IS that is in the pictures a few posts up, but man i hate stickers. mabye a few well placed ones. I have a club lexus one underneath my antena on the wind sheild, but to many stickers look dumb. i'd rather be fast than advertize the fact that i am fast. for bodykits, i think i'd go wald, minus teh fender flares. or if i did go flares, id have them molded into the body. i think i'd upgrade to 19" HRE's or BBS's, not sure which, and i'd put a nice system in the trunk. I'm thinking 2 JLW7's (13 inch). i'd also find a way to make a dual exhaust on this car...i think it'd look sick.

Well I'd do them all(I actually have tried).....Actually not to sound cocky but since I don't come on here very often and I had to re-register people may not know my car unless they go to IS300.net......I'd say I'm definatly close to doing it all......

Lastly about the GTE swap.....While it may be REALLY nice to do....I'd say lose the VVt-i on our engine build up the internals and you can go just as far as the GTE......Jut my opinion and Basically the reason I didn't do it...

if money was no option i would get a different car and build it up... but if you wre gonna do an IS300..I would do alot of what Dt1313 has done and from there change turbos...add the Nitrous...make a FULL WIDEBODY kit.. throw on some SICK wheels and do the Mobile Elec. like DT1313..really his car is sick... SICK

don taylor, you those are some impressive modifications you've got. would you mind posting ETs? have the 0-60 by any chance?

i like the OEM look of the interior. the sound system is pimp - very nice touch in the trunk.

the YELLOW IS300 that was linked is WAY overdone, in my opinion. judging by the US plates on the Supra (also in the album) i'm going to ASSUME the IS300 is just that, an IS300 - NOT an ALTEZZA at the car show. i cant stand people that put altezza badges on their IS.

also, just because they make a style kit (read: ugly carbon fiber mustard colored interior dash kit) for a car - does NOT mean you have to put it on.

anyway, i know i asked what YOU would do to the IS to make it the best (in your eyes of course). my opinions are just that, opinions. no offense to anyone.

oh and DON TAYLOR, why couldnt you have the GODFATHER playing during the photoshoot! fight club? the big lebowski? pulp fiction or reservoir dogs? anything but A Beautiful Mind!

well sorry you don't like the dash but the dash is actually custom done and mustered colored look was the digtal camera there is a better pic in the album know the dash is actually color matched to the car.

Dan definately has an IS that should be considered as an "Ultimate" choice. By the way, the article came out great! Looks like you beat me to the punch... I got some bad info on my shoot ... won't be until the Nov. issue.... but it's all good
