Hi everyone.. newbie here...so please bear with me...

I'm gonna be buying a 2001 IS300 with less than 10K km from the dealer... I'm worried that the previous owner did not break in the engine properly and may have caused damage (is that even possible?)... this weekend i'm going to check out the car myself... is there anything in particular i should look for?...

maybe i should take it to a 3rd party mechanic to get a better idea...

any suggestions guys?

I'm not sure.. i would think so since they are selling it from the dealership.. but i still get the balance of the warranty.. I'm gonna go check it out this weekend and hopefully the car is good...

If its from a certifed Lexus dealership sould be a Lexus certified used car with an extented warranty.

hey... got back from testing the car today... and I LOVE IT!!.. damn!!...

but one more quick question... whats the worst that could happen if the car wasn't broken in properly?...
