another quick question, does anyone elses IS go in to 2nd gear kind of rough sometimes?(especially when cold) and also going into reverse for some reason as well. im thinking its the block thats put up for 1st that sometime catches and makes it kind of hard for 2nd and reverse.

^ definitely put some new tranny fluid. Royal purp or redline is good and it should help out.

^ that seems correct. my bro just did his with redline and it took 2 and a quarter or so.

For the clutch, only clutch that I had prolonged experience with is the exedy stage1 and that's a real good clutch that grabs hard, but they dont make em for the IS or SC. I assume the exedy clutch would be good too
