The Evolution of my IS300, after 1.5 years (lots of pics)
So who would like to see an update? LOL
Wheel specs:
ENKEI RPF1
18x9 +25 / 215.40.18
18x10 +33 / 245.35.18
Camber:
-3* R
-2.25* F
Well, here is what my IS300 used to look like (when I bought it):
-Purchased March 15, 2008
-Stock, 5-speed manual, Limited Slip Differential, Graphite Grey Pearl, Black interior, 89k miles, all service done @ Lexus.
-19x8.5+38 ADR wheels (ugly huh)
-New OEM clutch/flywheel (that was a fun fix, 1 day after I bought it)
Then about 3 months later, I bought some new wheels and painted my headlights/fogs black:
-Stock
-18x8+40 TSW Sakata 5
-Ralco RZ short shifter
-Painted Fogs/headlights
-GROM iPod/Aux adapter
Then in January of 2009, I bought some new headlights, an intake, and lowered it a tad:
-Debadged "Lexus" & "IS300"
-Tokico Illumina shocks
-Tanabe GF210 springs
-JoeZ intake
-Blitz panel filter
-NEW OEM headlight housings
-Smoked Xpel film
-S2000 short antenna
-Painted Emblems (metalcast BP)
In March of 2009, I sold my old suspension, bought some coilovers and went LOWERRR. I bought an exhaust, and also painted my headlights satin black w/ black smoked turn signals:
-Painted headlights/fogs
-New OEM fogs
-Clear Xpel film
-Apex'i coilovers
-GReddy Ti-C exhaust
-New SportDesign grille
-G2 black caliper paint w/ silver Lexus logo's
Then over the next few months, I went off the deep end........ Literally. May 2009:
-Fig's hood props
-Fig's drivers side foot plate
-Fig's battery bar
-TRD shift ****
-5000k Low-beams
-Nokya 2500k Hi-beams
-PIAA Yellow "city light" bulbs
-PIAA License plate LED's
-GReddy front lip
NO PICS, SORRY.
It gets much better.... In June of 2009:
-Tanabe Sway bars
-Front and Rear underbody braces
-Fig's CDD delete
-3000k HID fogs
-McGard black spline-drive lug nuts
-Work VS-XX 18x8+38 front / 18x9.5+38 rear
-Yokohama S-Drive 215/40/18 (front) & 245/35/18 (rear)
-JDM dash tray
-Lexus Valve stem caps
-A bit of fender work (rolled flat all around, pulled 10-15mm in rear)
-Lowered the coilovers about 1/2"-3/4" more
NO PICS, SORRY.
Then, I went wider in July:
-Replaced OEM GGP front bumper
-H&R 10mm spacers (front)
-H&R 5mm spacers (rear)
(That put my effective offsets at 18x8+28 / 18x9.5+33 and no rubbing )
Then, yesterday (8/12/09), I cruised over to San Diego to pick up the sides/rear I was planning on putting on, and ended up picking up the front too. Here are shots of my IS300 up to date with full kit.

Wow what a evolution, I always love to see the progress of cars. To sum up, you went from a wantabe gangster ride to JDM perfection! I also think the gold wheels look great on a GGP, it is something you don't see often.

The next plans are for a 7" in-dash Alpine HU, Diamond Audio speakers all around driven by DA amplifiers, and a single 10" Cerwin Vega Stroker Pro. A family friend of mine happens to own Diamond Audio, as well as the mobile division of Cerwin Vega.
After that, enough spending for a while!
