Well lo and behold, my IS got a check engine light and i had the oxygen replaced at the lexus dealership. cost was $400 something but i had visa points.

I was just reading another post, and shouldnt this have been covered under the Federal Emissions warranty for 8 years, 80K miles? i bought the car in Aug/2003
