Cel... Code p1121.. Help
I got a code of P1121 accelerator pedal position sensor. My car will start but I have to press on the pedal about 3/4 down inorder to go forwars and it will only go 25 mph or will speed up all of a sudden. My husband says we have to replace the APPS but I can't find the part. Has anyone had this problem and can anyone help me?

what is simply says is clean the MAF.
what i would do is goto pepboys. they have an electronics/sensor plug cleaner. it comes in a spray can...also wouldnt hurt to get some carbeorator cleaner and clean then butterfly in the intake. new airfilter also wouldnt be a bad idea. once all complete. reset the ecu(remove neg terminal from battery....let sit for 10 minutes) then drive away. and see if the code returns. could be just as simple as a dirty sensor.
