So my car running ****ty this morning....
I step on the gas and car won't move for like 2- 3 seconds
Sometimes car will jerk,sometimes car will stop accelerating even tho I'm I'm stepping on the gas..
Then when it's on idle the car shake...
I kept driving it and engine lights pop up
Stop by at he autozone to pull the code
Code was p0171
Car have 174k miles ...

Okay im gonna start with maf sensor
Can I try my buddy's maf sensor and see if it fix the problem before on buying a new one?

 

had the same error once clean out my maf and throttle reset the ecu and has never come back but also check all your connector make sure none have corrosion in them or loose it sound retarted but it works and clean the connection too ...

 

The only thing I did yesterday was replacing the air filter? Will this might cause the problem? If not installed properly?

 

Cleaned my maf and throttle ... So far so good... Hope so
