Has anybody put the 2002 is300 armrest into the 2001??

 

I got a price quote of $258 to upgrade. You don't need to replace the whole center console, only the parts for the armrest. Still a little bit expensive for an armrest. I'm going to try calling Keyes Lexus about the one that they offer. If you didn't notice, there is a picture of it on the clubLex home page.

 

my dealer sells the armrest for $192 so i called keyes lexus and they told me $225 so you can figure out whos giving who a good deal

 

Wow, the Keyes one costs that much? For $225, it's nothing special. Did you actually do the upgrade or just get a price? My dealer told me $160, but then called back to tell me that he found some more parts that I needed.

do a search on www.IS300.net, a couple people there installed the 2002 armrest into a 2001.

Where did you get the aftermarket armrest from and how much did it cost?

 

there is a place in NJ I beleive who made an armrest custom for the 01' IS but now you can retrofit the 02' armrest
