Default Center Armrest Available?

hi. i bought a 2001 lexus is300. i really like to drive with a center armrest to my side, but the is one is too low. are tehre any bigger ones out there that i can possibly add on? first post, so thanks for your help.

2001 is300, they don't have armrest at all right? they don't start to become standard until 2002.

you can get the 2002+ one and put it on, or you can get some aftermarket ones

Are you in SoCal??

If you were thinking about getting a custom one made, you should contact AirStream in Huntington Beach..

They made a few hundred of these back in the day when many 1st year IS owners experienced the no armrest issue..

I have one and love it!!

i'm in norcal..how much did it cost you for the armrest?

check out this thread and it will tell you how to install a OEM armrest and how much all the parts are. I have done this and it's well worth it.

I think it was around $125.. for a custom piece that replaces the small oem lid with a taller longer leather/vinyl material that matches the brake handle look..

I have the "Long Armrest"

If I only knew this when I had my 2001 for 4 years. My only real gripe on the car. I didn't want to spend $400 on the OEM, only reason I lived without it.
