Well you can't really blame them. Sure is sucks, but think about it a bit. You don't want to come out with a totally new car with every possible feature in one year. You have to come out with a model make sure that there aren't any problems with it, then modify the origional design. The WRX took years to come out after the Impreza. The same goes for every car company. You could think about it like this.... you bought your car too soon

Thumbs up

I certainly would like to see an AWD version of IS300. It will give me a reason to change my car in couple of years! This will improve the car's handling in extreme weather conditions such as snow storms, etc. However, I equipped my IS300 with Nokian snow tires and I did not have any trouble driving it in extreme snow conditions this year. I passed an Audi 1.8T quatro during a snow storm last week. I am not sure if the Audi was equipped with snow tires, however; the driver was very keen to keep up with my car on the road.

I would like the AWD, due to weather concerns up here, and for light to light races, it would rock.

Concerns:
Toyota Matrix has an AWD version, however you can ONLY get it on the 130HP engine, the 180HP engine has "too much power" its in this months Motor Trend

So the indications that they have a strong AWD transmission are not good.

i don't mean to burst your bubble but there are other cars out there consider AWD as second nature....the audi s4(250hp stock) and rs4(300hp+stock) are prime examples and can easily dance around our riced out civic si-- i mean lexus is--in rain, shine or snow....so the issue between power and awd is a misconception...

i just completely regret getting this car because it is overrated and overpriced....for the price, the build/material quality and performance, audi a4 quattro surpasses the is....and for the real enthusiasts, the a4's mod potential is limitless....oh, and if i put the price difference between our car and the a4(about $4k) into mods, the a4 will more or less sh*t on our cars.....just needed to vent
