I have a slightly sun damaged headlight (passenger) and from the way it looks, the lens is able to come off and i need to get to the inside to use some of the mothers plastic restorer i have.... Im unsure of how the heck i get the headlight out though! i see two tabs that i can get to and unscrew them... but its still mounted somewhere else and i cant find it! any help would be greatly appreciated... im a newbie i know lol.

there's a DIY on how to remove headlights on the MY.IS forum. If you click on inside and out, right at the top, you'll see a sticky for DIY. Hope that helps.

remove the front bumper skin. then you need to cook it in an oven to open it up.

Check in the DIY section on my.is and you will see what is meant by cooking it in the oven.

yeah i also saw another thread somewhere on this forum about one member who took his off and painted the inside and that helped. i was reading along and then read "then put in oven and bake at 350 degrees for 5 minutes" and i was like ohhhh..... of course i chuckled a little bit too hehe

you may not need to take out the head lights... you might need to wet-sand the exterior. search for a diy write up on wet-sanding headlights, it helps restore most peoples headlights
