Yeah, 1Sick, people on other forums are going nuts over this car and starting rumors and stuff.
I never immagined that this thread would get that controversial.
I'll tell you when it happens....LOL Jeff (sc300turbo) knows his stuff, and he's telling me it's not really gonna be driveable. I can always turn the boost way down for daily driving, but then with like 1500cc injectors, I have NO idea how easily it will be able to idle. :/
That's why I've been looking at getting a second SC3 or something else (I found a nice Lotus...wanna let me borrow some $$? lol) to use as my daily driver, and just drive the current one on fridays/weekends, or whenever the mood strikes.
have a switch setting for low boost applications. When you are running at around 400HP it switches to 550CC injectors for the car to idle smoothly and run well in the city....
i think this would be very easy to do this..
p.s. if anyone does this u have to give me half of everything u make

ITS MY IDEA!!! hahahahaha jks guys
Well the problem with this, is that the standalone computer system will be programmed for 1500 injectors. I would have to run different fuel maps for the 550's to work.
A thing I was toying with was to run 785's as my main injectors, and have maybe two additional 1500's or maybe 4 of them, which would spray into the intake plenum where it splits into a "Y" shape. That could solve the idle issues.
