I just got back from the Essen Motor show and talked with the people from TTE.
It seems like this car is only a prototype.
The production plans are in the hands of the Toyota Motor cooperation. If they give the go ahead then it has a chance.
As a teaser I have been able to get some more pics of the engine .
Take a look.
P.S. for those interested in this conversion, contact TTE and let them know you are interested!!
TTE is getting me this speedo,i will see how many more i can get if anyone would be intrested i will post prices, when i find out from my "contact" at TTE
that is one awesome IS300, but I kinda wish they can make the appearance a bit meaner than the current IS. Like M3 is different from the standard 3 series with BIG fender, side grill, and quad exhaust with more bumper changes. Come on Lexus, make it a WIDER body IS = )
Given the car's specs, M3 and M5 is byebye. M5 does 0-60 in 4.8 top, i dunno where the 4.5 come from, that's not real.
If it is Supercharged then the HP is quite low. The S/C C32 AMG makes 350 HP from 3.2 liter engine, so I was hoping at least 430 HP out of this engine. Hmm that would be cool
AMAZING!!! But as someone else stated earlier, I wouldn't get one because I love the luxury AND the styling of the GS better. The IS3 looks too much like you know what.
I hope the next GS is ATLEAST that.
Oh yeah, and price wise, I don't think Lexus will make its least expensive car its most expensive car by putting more power into it. People won't wanna get it for the same reason people don't wanna get the C32 AMG, they will say its an IS afterall, just like they say its a C-class afterall.

I don't speak German (well, a little but) and I can't find any prices on the TTE site. Does anyone know who handles importing for them here in the USA? Would my local dealer be a good place to start? I haven't been on the boards much lately, so please excuse me if I'm asking questions that have been asked before.
