new to the forums!
Picked up my IS300 over Christmas, so I figured I'd register on here. A few of other lexus owners told me this was the best site for info... etc...
Im new to the entire Lexus thing all together. I just recently parted out my 93 3000gt VR4. I wanted something nicer, more reliable, but still fun. Picked me up a 02 IS300 5speed. I dont plan on modding the IS, but I'd love to learn more about them. I'm also interested in picking up a SC and modding that for more of a 'weekend car' in a few months.

yea well... I modded the absolute hell out of my VR4 and It kinda burnt me out. Im tired of working on something constantly. I just picked up a 99 F4 that is more of my "toy" right now... or at least when It warms up again.
The SC project is becoming more and more interesting to me though. Im still gathering up funds from my VR4 part out. So we'll see.....

I know what you mean about not wanting to mod it. I too have the same feelings because I put a lot of money and time into my last car and then one day it was all gone due to a guy who decided to park his Maxima in my truck going about 35 mph. Totaled 
However, once I sat in my IS 300 I haven't looked back.... Just taking it slow with mods, only have it dropped and have had it 8 mo. now.... But, I'm starting to get that itch again... We'll see...
