Blue Dash Lighting
I was wondering if anyone knew how to make all of the lights on the dash that are orange into a blue color? Does anyone know the exact process? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Yes it can be done real easy to the indtrument cluster, THe radio is the hard part to do. I have sent a radio off to a company to do. THey are doing mine and then gonna start doing others... I will let you know what it will cost when they are done. should know in like a week...

I haven't ever seen you around...
PM me if you can. I want to hear how your SRT stage 3 is going...
Anyway, I took apart my cluster a while back, there are bulbs in there, but the problem is the actual dash itself (the black area) has the color embedded into it.
So, regardless of whether you put blue, or red, or yellow, some of the colors will stay the same...
As for the chrono area, putting a blue bulb will not help that much.
Do you know anyone who has done this???
Doing the radio different colors shouldn't be that bad. I think you can take it apart and solder different LED's in place.

there is no orange color imbedding in the plastic in the dash or center console??
I converted my entire gauge cluster and dash over to SUPER bright blue LED's
When you remove the dash there are just bulbs back there.. I removed the bulbs/sockets, and soldered in super bright 4volt blue LED with appropriate resisters.. then i slipped condom diffusers over the LED's , the clear plastic light pipes in the clusters disperse the light to the guages and faces... Some lights are 12 and some are 9 in the dash.. so different resisters are necessary for different places for the LED's... I will try and diagram what goes where..
There are also ONLY plastic light pipes everywhere in the dash and radio... I replaced all of those lamps with LED's and diffusers and everything is cool...
The Climate control system has one giant plastic light pipe piece that disperses the light to everywhere in the dash... I think i replaced like 5 regular LEDs in there..
so far so good...

THanks brian, Back from the race just working on the cars as you know. Yea the dash is easy to change just the diod covers that have to be changed to blue, or the blue bulbs put in.. it is not that hard and or expensive for the dash... the radio I did not do but had some one do he said it is not hard at all.. I will get a pic cor everyone.
