Hi im just curious how fast did you guys go in your is300 any engine eny upgrades thanks

 

I went 140 in my friends stock IS300

 

At the time I was stock and took it up to 135. Im pretty sure it cuts off around 142 or 143.

 

With my IS stock, she wouldn't let me go past 140....

 

i got 160 on the stock engine ... but in canada, if your car came from an over seas factory, they come w. limiters in them [mine came from a japan factory not a north american factory] ... so 160 is as fast as the computer would let me go

 

Ive also gotta to up to 143 in mine....thts very fast....I believe the top speed is 143.7 MPH....idk i read it somewhere..lol

 

The rev limiter will top the car out at around the 141-144 MPH range.

 

as far as i kno (from what i've read and been told) it's not a rev limiter ... it's a speed limiter ... if anyone knows anything different i'd love to hear about it ... further to that ... does anyone kno how to take the limiter out? (or change the limit?)

 

ive been to 140-145, i dont know why you would want to take out the limiter, at 140 the engine is practicly at redline
