Isn't this the same engine that comes in supras w/out turbo, and the 2JZGTE is the twin turbo version? if so, i have seen unbelievable things done to the non-turbo engine to boost HP ridiculously in a lot of supras, wouldnt it stand to say that we could do it in the IS300 also then? check out www.mkiv.com - there is a bunch of stuff in terms of tuning both 2JZGE/2JZGTE engines. comments??

yes, its the same as the supra non turbo. and the power capabilities are amazing.

yep there are alot of things that can be done... you must remember tho our car is OBDII ver 2 not obd 1 or OBD II.... this limits things... also the lack of turbo manifolds and engine bay space.. makes things harder also..and lastly we have that crazy cat. converter setup... which hurts too... but yes the potential after all this is still great...

I know that aftermarket tuners will "tweak" the IS engine just like the Supra.
