A few more details on the build would be nice. Where'd you get the engine???? Is it a 2JZ-GE you put a turbo on or a factory 2JZ-GTE that you converted to single turbo??? I know the 2JZ is a great engine platform for huge power, but it is stupid expensive compared to say the GM LS platform or going with a Ford engine.

yes, i am using a AEM INFINITY 508 , and just wired in the TPS sensor last night, so it should idle better now, and just oil and other **** from me touching it with dirty hands is the cause of the smoke

engine is out of a 2000 lexus gs 300---- just installed a ebay mainfold , and turbo- and yes more money then a LSX setup- but i already had a LS1 TWIN TURBO and a 4.8 motor out of a truck with a single turbo in this crown vic--- right now im the only one with a 2JZ in the crown vic, VS other 4 LSX swapped crown vics lol

I'm all for being different, its a cool swap. People are going to be like WTF when they hear that straight six exhaust note instead of the typical ground pounding, Thor god of thunder type of V8 sound you usually expect in a hot rodded American car. BTW this looks like it would be way easier to work on and fabricate than a twin turbo V8 setup.

as someone who recently bought a crown vic, this looks like a lot of fun!! i'm always in a bit of a dilemma trying to describe the crown vic to someone... i can never decide if it's the most awesome crappy car, or the most crappy awesome car. it's a thinker...

this thing is great, especially when you go straight from driving the vic to driving the LS. it really helps you appreciate why the car cost so much to make.
