For those whom have had the ECU/TRAC fix done to their cars, I was wondersing how long it took from the time the dealer said they would fix your car until the time when the parts arrived and they actually fixed it for you?

The reason I am asking is because my dealer said it can take anywhere from 3 weeks to well over a month. I was also told that they are "making" the parts as needed. This has got to be BS, since the new cars already have this fix.

My service manager just called (literally...about 10 minutes ago). The ECU/Trac is upgrade is ready...it took about three weeks to get it. They'll install it on Saturday.
He also told me that once it's done you have to leave the car in power mode...
I hadn't heard that before. Has anyone else?
