Just wait till .net comes up.
I've seen all the pics of the 2002 model.
When I came to the dealership a couple weeks ago, I had far more info on the 2002 model than they did.

I think...

...for now, Lexus is trying to clean up their garage from 2001 model (that's why we are able to see crazy price drop and discounts) and when the time is right (God knows when), they'll launch the 2002 5sp IS300.

They could also be waiting for the release of Acura's new RSX. Let all the hype go by and then come with the new IS.
