The programming procedures are the same. It's in 2 parts, you have to program the ECM and then power dr locks. Do a search.

I found this in a search for you. Maybe it will help.

1. Driver's door open and unlocked, all other doors closed and locked.
2. Insert YOUR key in ignition, DO NOT TURN, remove key.
3. Using the lock/unlock button ON THE DRIVERS DOOR, slowly press lock and unlock 5 times (count the lock 5 times and unlock 5 times).
4. Shut door.
5. Open door.
6. Using the lock/unlock button ON THE DRIVERS DOOR, slowly press lock and unlock 5 times (count the lock 5 times and unlock 5 times).
7. With the door open insert your key into the ignition, turn to on position (DON'T START), wait 5 seconds. Turn off and remove key.
8. Locks should cycle once (Car will lock and then unlock once). If they don't cycle or they cycle more than once, do steps 1-7 over.
9. Now using the remote, push lock button, hold for one second, release. The locks should cycle once. If not, start over and go slower.
10. Close the door. Open the door. Press the lock button on the remote. The locks should cycle. Close the door. Press the lock button on the remote, the doors should lock. Press again and the doors should unlock.

I'm not sure since I have never had to do this myself. *knocks on wood* And especially since you don't have the key with the locks on it I wouldn't know what to tell you except to go to your dealer or something to see if they can help you. Why didn't you get the regular key with locks on it? You said you just got the valet key?

Keep searching. I don't have it off the top of my head, but it involves stepping on the brakes & gas a few times. Did it myself a while ago, it's very easy.

You're in good shape since you will need the master key to program it.

do a search and follow the directions that have you press on the brakes like 6 times and and gas pedal five times, someone who has a rx300 posted it. it's the same pricedure for most of the lexus's. it took me a couple of times for it to work. if you can't find it let me know I will post the directions I followed.
good luck.G
