Just curious. Will 2JZ-GTE engine bolt right into the IS's engine bay? Below is the pic of the engine

won't bolt right in. If it can too many people will be doing it already for the GS at a cost-effective level. If you want the GTE then you'll need alot of things like the engine, the transmission, the ECU and alot of other stuff. It's very hard for the GS already even though it's the same car, so it's going to be almost impossible for the IS300.

Wait for the 1JZ-GTE Altezza to be released in japan and see if you can use anything from there, but doing engine swap on a car that originally don't have that engine designed on the blue print is too hard. This is Lexus, not Honda.
