HI

how do you reset the ECU.....i know some people did it to boost the car...i really want to know...thanks for the info btw

You take off the connection/connections of the cars battery and wait about 10min then connect it back. Not sure if you just do one or both though. But that is pretty much it. And what do you mean boost?

you can also pull 2 fuses from your fuse box in the engine bay so you don't lose your radio presets and clock shizzle

you can just disconnect the battery

all you need to do is disonnect the negative side.

The one on the left as you stand in front of the car looking at the battery. That's for people like me that can't remember positive and negative.

Exactly!!! You don't need to disconnect the battery terminals to reset the ECU...unless you want to keep losing your presets.

On most cars, negative goes to the engine block for grounding.
