How long have to wait if detach battery for computer reset ?

if you disconnect battery i think maybe 15 mins

5 mins is more than plenty. If you don't want to lose your clock, tripmeter and radio settings, unplug the EFI fuse for the same amount of time.

I tried that and my tripmeter, radio and clock settings ended up being reset anyway!

sometimes you want to reset the computer so that it starts leaning your driving habits again. usually it makes the car a bit more powerful.

of course, there are other reasons to rest it i guess
