Hey guys, what's up? I was thinking about removing the bulging resonator on my megan racing y/race pipe and welding a straight pipe in its place for better sound and power. I already did this to the stock b/resonator pipe and it sounds burly now. Would it be a good idea to do the same to the race pipe? I also have a pro1 axleback exhaust and pro1 header. I was thinking that yes it would be a good idea in order to achieve maximum air flow before i get my apexi s-afc II tuned this weekend. Thanks.

Dax,
Go to sleep. I would leave everything you have alone. Talk to you tomorrow.

The resonator helps supress exhaust sounds. Removing it will obviously increase the noise.
