Default help please!

I have a 2001 is300 with 181k miles on it. recently, i’ve noticed my serpentine belt is very loose. i went and replaced it and it’s tighter, but still slipping and sqeaking. my power steering pump and my water pump and every other pulley is not seizing up. my belt tensioner is also fine. however, when i start it and try to move the wheel it will barely budge. does anyone else have any ideas? i’m out of my knowledge range

If new belt and new tensioner. Then check your harmonic balancer.

^^^ pretty common for them to seperate and the belt / outer portion of the crank pulley is spinning from friction, usually it just falls off lol

If the new belt is still loose and slipping, even with a good tensioner, it might be an issue with the power steering pump itself. It could be failing internally, causing resistance and affecting the belt’s grip. Another possibility is the pulley alignment—if one of the pulleys is misaligned, it could cause slipping. Check those
