hmm definatly tint. you could switch the shifter *** if you wanted. but just don't use one of those neon things. you could switch out your grill in the front to the altezza grill; if you like those anyway. umm you can switch out your sidemarkers to clear. that is simple really its like 20 bucks for the clear markers and takes all of like 30 min to install. you can get a JDM antennae which is like 15-20 bucks and takes as long as unscrewing the OEM one and screwing on the new one. and that is all i can think of at the moment that is easy and cheap, but i will let ya know if i think of anything else.

i believe that some of the club sponsors carries this stuff, but i am not sure i haven't checked. i got all of my stuff online though mostly on ebay. it is the same stuff just got it cheaper. also check on the member classifieds people are all the time selling stuff on there. if ya don't find what you are looking for on there, do a search in like google or something under "Lexus IS300 accessories" and you should get tons of websites with stuff. if you need any help just holla at me.

hey man... im not trying to jinx u. just becareful thats all. i totalled my first car when i was 16... couldn't walk for 3 months. all my teeth were loosened from hitting the steering wheel so hard.. thank God i didn't lose them and thank God i can walk. u should have seen the imprint in the steering wheel from my teeth lol.... not to mention being able to reach the front emblem from inside the car after all was said and done. police arrived and thought i was dead on impact.

more importantly over buying parts for ur car.. is being able to handle the car in stock form to its fullest potential... not many people can do that... you being only 16... even with one year of driving experience, you have a long ways to go.... im 27 and still learning.

but if you're gonna starting modding.. start with ur suspension. that is the most important.

Totally agree with Amy's suggestions...

1.Tint is definitely one of the "mods" you should consider. Get a professional to do it. I have a black/black SportCross. I got it tinted all around. It looks mean. Since my SportCross has more windows, it cost me a bit more to tint it than sedans. I paid $200 (had a coupon) with life time guarantee. Make sure the place you get your windows tinted has lifetime guarantee so that if any tint bubbles or messes up, you can get them redone for free.

2. the JDM short antennae is a great easy upgrade to better the overall look of the car. you can also find the JDM antennae at is300.net store. is300 charges $42 which is a little more expensive than the norm. but i have heard and read bad things/reviews about lextasy.com.

3. you can debadge the back of the is300 for zero cost (such as remove the "IS300" and "Lexus" tags. it creates a cleaner look. just a thought. this is more of a personal preference. you can easily remove these tags using a hair dryer and dental floss.

4. you can make the side markers clear or make the back two red lights on the trunk to black or clear as well.

i think that's pretty much the quick and less expensive mods you can do.

personally, i definitely recommend tinting first. it makes the most difference on the appearance of the car without the big cost. the tint will also help protect your interior as well.

Caliper painting is always a good place to start. It's inexpensive and not all that difficult.

painting your calipers isn't more then the cost of the paint (10-15dollars)

helps make the car look cleaner overall....you can get the lexus decals for the calipers for a nicer overall effect

i've been to lazy to do it.....can't drive for a while=paint needs to dry

i'd recommend spending your money on a nice sponge, bucket, absorber, and some good soap.....

that's the best investment you can make when it comes to having a nice looking car....trust me.
