Rear View Mirror Play or Movement
The movement of my rear view mirror seems a little more than I expected when I adjust it. It seems the extra movement coms from where the stem attaches up in the base that is mounted on the windshield, but I suspect that may be by design. There's no indication of looseness or play/movement when driving and going over bumps. Does anyone else's rear view mirror have an extra degree of play or movement when adjusting it? I doubt it would be on just hybrid models so I'll ask on the 4GS forum.

You can try tightening the set screw that secures it but they all wiggle a bit.

I'll leave well enough alone. It seems to be firmly attached and doesn't vibrate or move when I'm diving, so I'm happy with it as-is. Clearly, it's the way Lexus wants us to have it. But then there's that pathetic trunk light that Lexus wants us to have, so...
my rearview mirror vibrates so much when my music is loud and my bass is the main reason i guess. But when this happens it is hard to see behind me. I already tightened it as much as I could but no difference. Anyone know what I can do?
