I just buy 2016 LS600HL and looking to inspect the high voltage battery filter

any one can help please ?

also, is the wiring system unify for all option of 600hl , because the one I have look like basic and I plan to add the other option to upgrad it such BSM and radar system ... etc. If the wiring not available I stop upgrading it.

Venting system for the traction battery is in the back behind the rear seat, you can see the vent from the rear windshield. I'm guessing you can just snap off the plastic cover and my guess is that the filter is behind those but I never attempted inspecting it yet, you might have to remove the rear seats to access those. Let us know how it goes if you attempt to inspect the filter. As for the main wiring harness from what I saw while contemplating retrofitting the apsss the main harness is not the same for the car with that option and the car that don't have it. I came to the conclusion that it would be easier to study the wiring diagram and fabricate your own harness to connect the missing wires than basically dismantle the car to replace the main wiring harness. So the main wiring harness could be different depending on the options you are looking to retrofit but there could be unused connectors for some options on all harness versions. You must also make sure that the various ecus related to the said option for car with or without the option you want to retrofit are also the same. Ex: you could need a different version of the DSU for cars with and without radar cruise control.

Based on the above video, I don't think the early 600's had a separate filter, not until later.

You're absolutely right, got it sorted yesterday. Mine had a very dirty blower motor and some of the ducting was loose...so hopefully issue solved! Easy diy job though.
