Angry RX 400h 2008 problem

Dear All
At the moment I am in Georgia republic with my car Lexus rx400h 2008 year with vin code: JTJHW31UX82050986
I can not solve my problem here due to unavailability normal workshops or maintenance team. Problem is next: when I push accelerator and RPM reaches for example 3500-4000 after releasing (removing lag) accelerator RPM does not decrease soon it stays same (3500-4000) about 6-8 seconds and then starts decreasing . (check engine light is bot active)
Please can someone let me know what the problem there might be?

Please, please help me

Maybe your throttle body needs cleaning.
PS: How do you see RPM on hybrid car?

If all else fails ie. independent repair shops, take it to Lexus. imsq is right unless you are hooked up to your OBD, you do not know your rpms. Look carefully, that guage on the left is not a tach.

or Toyota dealer... or look for Lexus club in Georgia (for example) and ask them where to diagnose and repair the car

A characteristic of the CVT transmission is it maintains engine RPM after heavy acceleration. Tough to say if this is an effect you are noticing by your description. Is the vehicle new to you, or is this a new “symptom”?

Clean throttle body and whatever servos you have on it.

Folks, he's in Georgia REPUBLIC. If there is even single Toyota dealer that knows hybrids there, I'd be surprised.

Why do you discriminate against other countries? There are many great mechanics in Eastern Europe. The new parts are expensive there and income is much lower than in US, so they have to repair everything (labor cost is also low).
