Hello all,

I am a new and proud owner of a 2014 GS450h black on black. I absolutely love this car. My questions to you is that how long does the hybrid battery last? Is there any maintenance that I should be bringing to attention for the hybrid batteries? I bought the car as a Lexus certified pre-owned so I have that peace of mind if anything mechanical breaks on the car. Thanks any helpful hints are greatly appreciated.

 

Congratulations on your new car! You probably don't have to worry too much about the hybrid battery in the 4th gen gs. I know there were issues with the 2006-1010 gs450h due to aggressive battery programming (packs were overheating leading to shorter life). I believe this is all sorted out and haven't had any issues with the hybrid battery. If you are truly worried go ask the same question in prius forums.
