Thanks for your thoughts. Funny coincidence that we both had 06 IS350's. Smokey granite mica metallic, with black interior with sport package, right?

I thought for sure I would change car brands but it's hard to give up on Lexus. My dealer's service dept is great and always go the extra mile. Not sure I would get this switching brands.

I drove a Lux package RX450h again today and love it. I notice the wirling sound when you slow down but it's not so bad. The cool thing is how quite it is when accelerating. It's a night and day difference compared to the RX350. Seems to be less vibration also.

I love the Semi-Aniline leather. If feels a little softer than the standard premium package leather. I also can use the thigh extender since I'm 6' 3".

I'm just about ready to sign, but will have to wait until I know the 1.9% incentives will be offered in Oct.

psst................... thats a 350 not a 450

Thanks to all the informative posts comparing the 350 to 450, i have a 450 scheduled for assembly the end of this month,

Doesn't have the same problems like the RX350. Once you get used to the way the Hybrids drive, like ggebhardt says you will not regret owning it. Go with the Hybrid!
My mom is approaching 200,000 miles on her '07 400h. No regrets. Been much more affordable to maintain than her RX300 was.

I test drove three 2018 rx450 and settled on a white one with premium package. They were all nice and quite but, like other people here, the seat on the F sport was a deal killer for me and my wife. My wife immediately noticed how small and uncomfortable the passenger seat was and she's a small form person.

This morning I started paying attention and noticed the regular, non-f-sport seats aren't much bigger. It's surprising that for a 50K+ car, they really skim on the size of these seats. I'm an average sized guy but the bottom piece fits without an inch left on the sides and the front is quite short (3" short to the knee bend).

Why is it cheaper to maintain?
