Acoustic (double-pane) front window glass ?

I concur, it's very quiet (engine+CVT combo) and maybe that's why we notice wind noise - but on the other hand my dealer also replaced my passenger window yesterday with dual-pane acoustic glass so both front are acoustic now -boy what a difference - must be at least 3-6dB less wind noise vs single pane (2-4 times less noise). You can literally whisper inside the car @ 130km/h on the freeway now - very happy

Interesting. What does the CWP contain? I thought it was heated steering wheel, x2 pane front glass, and headlight washer. Anything I missed? My 2015 doesn't have the headlight washers but does have double pane glass and heated steering wheel. I don't remember the build sheet saying it's got CWP.

Re CWP, I think you forgot the front heated seats (heated rears I think they're part of the luxury pack, which adds cooled fronts)

I have a '13 with the Luxury and Cold Wx Package. You were able to get the heated front seats, or both front and rear - the price for adding the heated rear seats was a bit over $440, IIRC.

That's not true actually...
That's part of the cold weather package. More info about options is available in this sticky thread: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...-pictures.html
From the 2015 GS 350 brochure, the Water Repellant front door glass is mentioned, but not double pane:

I see people like yourself saying this a lot, but the Cold Weather Package does not list the double pane front glass. My car does not have the CWP, does have the double pane front glass, and has ALL of the CWP options EXCEPT the wiper de-icers (damn!). Lexus certainly is weird with all their randomness and customization.

We won't figure it out. I honestly believe it's random.
My 15 had the dual pane glass but no CWP.

My 2013 AWD has Luxury and CWP.
I have double-pane windows in front.
The brochure doesn't mention them as part of any option.
Unless it's 'Water-repellent front-door glass', which is in the CWP and 450h.

Euro car, thicker glass for sure but not double (none that I saw had lamisafe on the window).
New el cheapo es in the dealership - bam - lamisafe... and nothing in the options list...
