Does the laminated glass make a difference?

Does the laminated glass make a difference?

I drove both models and couldn't clearly tell a real difference between the base model and the modern luxury with laminated glass. Anyone have any issues with the glass de-laminating or glazing over time?

I would like to have it, I have a ML. I believe my car and my wife's have acoustic windshields. It makes for a funny pattern to be seen when the glass fogs up, like squiggly lines....but still want it....

Laminated glass isn't an option on Modern Luxury packages. Only on Custom- or Ultra-Luxury versions.

How do you tell you have laminated glass? I have a custom luxury that seems to have every option available.

Roll the window down and look at the top edge. If it's laminated you can see that there are two panels where they meet in the middle.

No I do not have that I have read window shade,mark levinson sound, navigation 6 disc CD, the auto turning hids headlights parking sensors thsts all i think of thsts special on that car.
