Default Just bought 2015 RX 450H!

Hopefully I made the right decision in the long run by trading in my 2013 RX350. I got it for 39k + TTL, MSRP was 56k I thought it was a good deal that I couldn't pass up!. My only concern was the hybrid battery since it was sitting on the lot for 10 months and had 150 miles on the odometer. Should I be worried? Input please! Thanks

If it's going to fail, it'll do so long before the warranty is up, so I don't see any reason for concern.

Dennis1123, congrats on your 450h. The hybrid batteries are covered for 8 years/100,000 miles, whichever comes first. Like rj4510 said, you'll be under warranty in case anything happens.

Even though NiMH batteries are known to have a noticeable rate of discharge when not used, I would think even on the lot it probably got a few test drives over that time period. It doesn't take long for the car to bring the hybrid battery back up to normal charge

A great decision. My wife and I in the last 12 months have both bought a 2013 ES300h and a 2015 RX450h. You do not go in a buy a hybrid when gas is $4 a gallon. The ES was the same price as the ES350's on the lot and the RX was about $1,500 more than the RX350's. We would never buy a non hybrid now.
