Indeed, nine thousand dollars is a fairly decent amount of money. That being said, the cars here are built to gulf specifications which are more resistant to heat, so I guess that might costs more or the dealer just takes a nicer cut over here.

Do you know if your version of Mark Levinson only had 12 speakers? It should have had 15. The premium package has a 12 speaker setup.

I noticed one of the pictures in the blog is of the rear of center console.



This isn't available on the Australian spec 3rd Gen RX. Probably isn't practical anyway, given how low the volume controls are mounted for the headphone jacks.

Another omission which I'm a bit bummed out about is that we don't get the panaromic roof in Australia, only the regular sunroof.
