My head is still spinning - I can't believe what I just did...

Bought a one owner 2008 CPO RX400h w/Premium Plus package - with UNDER 20k miles!

Will be picking it up later this week - Smoky Gray Mica w/black interior - will post pictures later this week.

I thought I would be driving the 2002 RX300 into the ground - and if it were up to me, I probably would have. But the other half told me that I should be looking for a car... and I think I got a beauty!

Now that is the way to find a used car!! We love ours.

 

Very nice! We thought we had the low mileage record with our 2008 RX 400h that we picked up a year ago at 25K.

 

I picked it up yesterday. Am very, VERY happy with it thus far.

I did ask the dealer replace all 5 tires with brand new Michelin - met a little bit of resistance, and explained why I wanted the Michelin tires - and they did replace all 5 tires.

And finally - when I picked up Old Smoky last night, I reset the energy consumption.

After driving to work this morning, I took a picture of what the computer says that I'm averaging for MPG. I don't know how accurate it is - but if it is accurate, I am very happy with these numbers thus far!

I still have some reservations as to whether I got a good deal - I think I did, but its done & thus far I'm loving it.

I got it for $31k (minus trade) (plus tax, title & doc fees). And got them to add on new Michelin tires.

 

Both of your cars are in pristine condition!

looks nice.....almost exactly what I did in March......bought a 2008 RX400h AWD, lease return, same exact colors....and I replaced an RX300

 

Thank you. Except that you were smarter than me in that you sold your RX300 privately.

My RX300 was running great. Issue had to do with finding the right buyer & the lemon law in Massachusetts (which is one of the tougher ones in the country). I'm sure that I could have detailed it up & got around twice what I got for a trade selling to a private party - but then again, perhaps not.

And yes, I did bring it to CarMax & other places - boy, was I in for a rude awakening...
