My car will be 2 years old next month so its currently not even 2 years old with about 19000 miles on the odo.

What are my chances of them giving me a $50K check to buy a 2013 RXh?

Steven, have you had your car towed to the dealer yet and have you talked with your insurance company? They're the ones with the answers, we can only speculate and offer good wishes. Provide photos of the car in the water if you have them, can't hurt. With all the damage in the NE, the insurance companies are going to be inundated with claims in a way that has never happened before. I'd get one in as soon as possible.

Yes i called Geico and and ispector is coming by tomorrow. If it is determined to be a total loss, will they do me the courtesy of towing it away for free?

Steve, if they total it, I'm pretty sure you won't have to tow it, they'll want it. If a new battery and carpets plus a few other odds and ends will get it back to normal condition with a good detail they probably won't total it. But I'm not the inspector so ....

Just so you know and might find a way to use it as ammo with GEICO, USAA considered the best insurance company in the US has rated the RX 450h as the best most dependable midsize Luxury SUV available.

You seem to have a number of questions about the process ... here is what to expect:

Sorry to hear your loss. If Geico doesn't think it's total, just take the money and scrap the car for parts. It'll lose all resale value from the flood.
