Fuel capacity for RX h???
I read that the fuel capacity is about 17 gl's, but I cannot seem to put in more than 14. 
Does the RX really keeps 3 gallons for reserve??
All my other cars have not had that. If the manual said that the capacity is 17 gallons then you could pump in 17 gallons.
What gives??

Past experience has told me I have a couple of gallons (maybe a bit more) left when any of my Lexus have registered empty. I seldom let it get that low and have not tested it with my 2013 yet... 1/4 left in the tank and I generally start looking.

The Light turns on when you have about 25 miles left on the cruising range and it will take about 14 gals when the cruising range says 0 miles. When my cruising range said 8 miles my car took 13.992 gals.
Yes, the 450h has 17.2 gals tank versus 19.2 gals on the 350.

Same experience here in Australia, RX-350 Sports Luxury model, 2010
Capacity is 72 liters = 19 US gallons, wife always want to fill up when the light comes on, takes 61 liters or 16 US gallons.
